The White Birch (band)
The White Birch was a Norwegian trio. The name comes from the 1994 album The White Birch by the band Codeine, one of the cornerstones of slowcore.[1] They are sometimes called the "Norwegian Sigur Ròs."[2] The trio was composed of Ola Fløttum, Hans Christian Almendingen and Ulf Rogde.[3] They played together for 10 years, releasing 5 albums.
